Thinking of ways to incorporate firemaking into the game with real purpose.
Smithing 90Add 4 rune ore to a fire and use a rune or dragon weapon on it. Has a 45% chance to get Re-forged (weapon name) +4 to random of weapon aim or weapon power or mixed between both.
Crafting 90Add 4 of any gem (cut or uncut) to a fire and use an amulet (must contain gem of the same type used on fire) on the fire to have a 45% chance of getting a Re-forged (amulet name). Adds +1-4 to a random 1 bonus the amulet gives (ex. Power Amy doesn't get a bonus to aim and power, just 1 or the other)
Fletching 90Add 4 bows to a fire and have a 30% chance to get a Re-forged (bow name) P1-4 or A1-4. Adds +1-4 to 1 random bonus of aim or power (these aren't visible, hence the name of the item).
All items added to fire as reagents are lost to the fire. All items that fail have a 50% chance of being lost to the fire.
I like this idea a bit.
Nah no reforged stuff rev did it and its lame
Didn't know. Call it enhanced.... Can be pep or fop all up for debate, but we need something to add firemaking as a utility, not torture. I figured this would take items out of the game and bring new ones in that make builds a little spicy.
I'm not sure about adding new weapons and stats via the fire-making skill, but i think there could be some sort of way to use it other than just lighting fires.
